Lullaby Project Celebration Concert
Essential Viewing • 1h 16m
The Lullaby Project, a program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, gives new and expectant parents the opportunity to create and share a personal lullaby with the help of professional artists. The participants are offered a creative opportunity to communicate feelings, hopes, and dreams as they look to the future with their child.
The Corporation of Massey Hall and Roy Thomson Hall became a Lullaby Project partner in 2017. Over the past six years, over 50 participants have worked with artists to create lullabies that encapsulate their personal experiences, with lyrics and melodies full of raw emotion, vulnerability, and love.
Featuring 12 songs that have never been previously performed live, this concert highlights a selection of lullabies written between Fall 2019 and Summer 2023. You're invited to join us for a very special evening of music and family in our first Education & Outreach livestream.
